Night had come and gone, a new day dawned and Servant was nowhere to be found. Lizzy put on her hiking boots and day pack filled with water, snacks and high energy protein bars. She went to the door and out to the back yard headed for the mountain just behind their house. “All my fountains are in you oh Lord,” She heard as she went past their newest yard ornament. She looked up and began to laugh, there was John Withers lying on the Rock, arms in the air oblivious to the world worshiping the Lord with an old worship song, in his roughened voice he sang, “There is no other friend, there is no other friend like you oh Lord, no other brother no other brother like you – there is no other love there is no other love like you oh Lord, no other sweeter, no other fountain like you, – how long until i’m satisfied I must have more of you, for I was born in Zion awakened love is crying out for you, it must be you -uuu If I’m heal by just one touch of your garment Lord then how much more of your love is for me than I’m tasting Lord, My Lord draw me, take me and i will ru-un with you over the mountains and down into the valleys I will run with you draw me take me-e and I will ru-un with you, I will I will My Lord I will run with you.” After a moment of silence Lizzy began to laugh, she laughed so full heartedly and innocently that it was both sweet and contagious. Servant sat up and looked down upon her surprised that she would be up at this time on day. “ha, ha, ha, ha- I should have known you’d be sitting on that Rock by now Mister! Can I come up?” Servant reached out his arm to her with a smile, “It’s your rock now sweetheart, come on up.”
As Liz sat next to him John squeezed her in a one-armed hug asking how she had slept last night, then began to relive some of the events of his night and how he had been lying on this rock thinking of Isaac’s sacrifice, and his willingness and trust of Abraham his father to hear and obey the Lord even at the cost of his own sons life. Remembering the cross, and the reason for it, and remembering What Paul said in Romans chapter 12 verse 1 Servant wondered that there was not more solemnity among professing Christians today. It was like Ryle said 100 years ago or so “If you Christianity costs you ‘nothing’ then it’s worth nothing’. Servant knew this to be so, his faith had ultimately cost his life in every way, and he knew that the cross was the end and the beginning for every soul who would ‘dare’ be put upon it with their savior. He remembered a vision from many years previous where he was on his cross, and like the proverbial thief, he had one arm nailed solid along with his feet signifying that he wasn’t going any where, but his strong arm was flailing about trying to get free, as was his head loose, and without a crown of thorns. No the man on that cross wanted his own life, in the sense that his creativity was onto the cross but his works were unto himself and he didn’t truly have the mind of Christ as it is written in Scripture in Phillipians 2: 5-11, and 1 Corinthians 2:14-16. King James Version (KJV)
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
Servant hugged Liz again as he thought of the words of Paul, and the things he spoke of, of, the mind of Christ, and the understanding of those whom he has called and gifted with the Spirit to understand though the world in most of its entirety will never know and never understand. Servant thought about the countless religious groups in the world realizing that most were inclined to the law, and that they had many forms and traditions but did not have the Spirit and the truth of the mind of Yeshua, Jesus Christ.
Heart grieved he gazed forward thinking of the Day of God and how most would call it an evil day having not know Him as he is. Servant knew that, if there was no blood on a mans cross, there would be no cross in the mans blood. He knew that it is the blood of Christ that cleanses, saves and forgives, but also changes the man forever. He knew that the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God, and that nothing any man could ever do would win him favor other that to be on that cross with Christ

LOL I was like you when I came to the Lord, nobody ever touched me other than my wife and children. The first time a Christian fellow put his arm over my shoulder I wanted to turn out from under it and punch him out!!
But touch is very important in the body of Christ and we are all supposed to be holy and clean in everything we are and do. Therefore we would remain that way and not slime one another out, as has happened to me from people in prayer lines who should not have been near enough to touch anyone.
I have had a few critics before on other blogs … Chew all you want Emily eye kan take it!
And if I can’t I will run.
